This 1,300-square-foot Activity Center will host a variety of Discovery Storytimes, Family Literacy Programs, and After School Activities. The Center will be complemented by an adjacent, outdoor amphitheater, facilitating opportunities for children to develop poise and self confidence as they take part in skits and plays, participate in Kinder Music recitals, or read aloud.

The Activity Center will also be supported by state-of-the art, audio-video-display capabilities, including overhead LCD projection, a retractable screen, dual sound systems for voice and music, and wired\wireless Internet access.

A key feature of this Center will be a powered room divider, which will enable this space to be utilized as either one large or two medium-sized program areas. When not in use as a children’s activity center, this flex-area will be available as a public meeting room.

When divided, each room will have a built-in refreshment/food service area, including a small sink, service counter, and built-in holding refrigerator.
