This multipurpose meeting and programming space will support a flexible room configuration, easily accommodating up to 150 seats, with ample room for up-front panel presentations, lectern, exhibit tables, etc. This flexible meeting room will be capable of hosting a broad range of programs and activities, including those that require a food service complement.

The accompanying kitchen will feature a complete, commercial-class food preparation facility, with large capacity refrigerator and freezer, range, dishwasher, and food preparation and serving facilities. While the kitchen will directly support activities in the Community Room, it will also indirectly support the programs and events hosted throughout the entire South Branch Library and Community Center.

The Community Room will also be supported by state-of-the art, audio-video-display capabilities, including overhead LCD projection, retractable screens, dual sound systems for voice and music, and wired\wireless Internet access.
